Marisa entered into real estate in 2006, her first-hand knowledge of dealing with a high volume of transactions has helped her become the REALTOR® she is today. For over 8 years, Marisa worked with several private and public area builders, giving her the opportunity to see all that goes into the real estate process. Not only did she learn the paperwork side of things, but she also learned about what goes into creating something from start to finish, from acquiring land and developing it all the way to a project’s final completion.  With that experience under her belt and a chance to be able to serve her past clients, in 2014 she opened up her business to the full spectrum of real estate, to include both resale and new construction homes.

After being born and raised in North Dakota, Marisa moved to the PNW when she was 18, and has lived in the Tacoma/Gig Harbor area since 2001.  In her free time, Marisa is a proud mama and loves spending time with her family and friends. In addition to being an avid sports follower, Marisa loves spending time in the sun, making memories with her kiddos, cooking, and wine tasting.

Q: What can clients expect when working with you? How do you typically communicate with them?

A: In order to provide the best level of customer service for each individual client and truly help them achieve their real estate goals, I need to get to know each client on a personal level.  We create individualized strategic plans for each client to best suit their needs and help them meet their goals. In doing so, my clients become my friends. Those relationships don't just stop when the home sale closes—they continue on into lifelong friendships.

Q: Tell us more about the kind of real estate you specialize in! What neighborhoods do you work in?

A: I specialize in residential real estate throughout Pierce County, specifically in and around the cities of Gig Harbor, Tacoma and Puyallup. I spent the first half of my real estate career in the Puyallup area, lived in Tacoma for over 10, and am a current resident of Gig Harbor.  All of these areas are in my "backyard" of real estate!
